Dr. Gobinda Kanti Paul is a highly accomplished cardiologist with a strong academic and clinical background. He earned his MBBS from Dhaka, completed his BCS in Health, and went on to achieve an MD in Cardiology from the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) under BSMMU, Dhaka. Dr. Paul holds prestigious fellowships from the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the American College of Cardiology (ACC). He has specialized training in Color Doppler Echocardiography from the Jrop Institute in New Delhi, India.
As an expert in heart disease, rheumatic fever, and general medicine, Dr. Paul is also a life member of the Indian Academy of Echocardiography and the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE). Currently serving as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Cardiology at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, he plays a pivotal role in advancing cardiovascular healthcare and education.
Born in Pakutia, Ghatail, Dr. Paul has a wide range of interests outside of his medical career. He enjoys listening to music and is also a talented singer. His favorite foods include Thai cuisine, Subway sandwiches, and a unique combination of water rice with French fries.
